This month’s “Our Take” features a new frozen
chimichanga from Ruiz Foods called El Monterey XXL. We chose the
chimichanga because of its appeal to on-the-go eaters and its
fairly targeted convenience store consumer appeal. Though the
line has been on the market for some time, our review focuses
on new varieties including Taco Picante Zesty Coated Chimichanga
and Baja BBQ Style Zesty Coated Chimichanga. Our criteria includes
price / quality, packaging appearance, convenience, taste and
innovation
