The Art of Mexican Food - Burritos

Burritos are made with flour tortillas and originate from Northern Mexico. In Southern Mexico, tacos made with corn tortillas are more popular. In fact, the primary difference between burritos and tacos is simply the type of tortilla that encases the filling: wheat or corn.

How to make a Burrito

Step #1:

Warm tortillas. Place filling of choice in bottom third of the tortilla.

Step #2:

Fold flap over filling, bring edges in.

Step #3:

Fold over until no flap remains.

Step #4:

Warm and serve.
